The DL Cabinet Making Process

1 – Consultation

The process begins with a complementary one hour one on one meeting in the comfort of your own home to discuss the requirements for your new project. i.e. Kitchen Cabinets

  • During that time we’ll discuss your ideal layout and the finished result you’re looking for.
  • Discuss with you your requirements covering all practical and creative aspects of the project.
  • Discuss your budget and how to get the most from your money
  • Remember to have all photos and examples you’ve researched present at the meeting.

2 – Quote and 3D presentation

We will then present you with your quote for your new project accompanied with a 3D computer generated drawing out lining the details discussed in the initial consultation.

  • We are happy to make any changes you require so you are 100% happy with the design and lay out of your kitchen.

3 – Contract

Once the design is finalised you will receive paper work to sign and return accompanying you deposit outlining the details of your project.

  • You will then receive a time line out lining the process.

4 – Site Measure

A detailed final site measure is carried out on the space your new project is to occupy.

5 – Arrival of Appliances

Once the contract has been signed all your appliances, sinks tap ware etc are to be delivered to our factory where they are physically measured to make sure they fit perfectly into your new cabinetry.

6 – Final Drawings

Following the site measure you will receive a detailed working drawings of the cabinetry. Once these have been checked and approved and your happy to proceed the job is put into production.

7 – Production

This is where you sit back and relax while our skilled cabinetmakers constructs your new hand crafted bespoke cabinetry.

8 – Factory Inspection

Once the cabinetry is fully assembled in our factory a convenient time is arranged for you to come and view and inspect.

9 – Installation

Once the site is ready for your new cabinetry it is delivered and installed.

  • Its at this stage where bench tops and glass splash backs are templated to get exact sizes for there production.

10 – Completion

We will then present you with your quote for your new project accompanied with a 3D computer generated drawing out lining the details discussed in the initial consultation.

  • At the completion of the project we will do a final inspection to ensure you are happy with the finished result.
